Singapore-based fashion photographer & creative director
Susannah Jaffer is a creative entrepreneur based in Singapore, working across Southeast Asia and internationally.
Before picking up the camera, I spent a decade immersed in media and retail. As a former magazine editor and the founder of ZERRIN—a platform spotlighting independent designers and featured in Vogue, Tatler, The Straits Times, Prestige, and more—I’ve collaborated with hundreds of emerging brands, shaping their presence through curated retail experiences, storytelling and events.
This background informs the way I shoot: with strategy, soulfulness, and a deep understanding of what makes a brand resonate and grow. My style balances contrasts—soft yet strong, dreamy yet dynamic—rooted in quiet confidence and guided by an intuitive eye for what feels both beautiful and true.
With a deep appreciation for craftsmanship, quality, and thoughtful design, I create imagery that goes beyond the surface—telling stories that stir emotion, build connection, and move people to act. I’m always drawn to fashion, beauty, and lifestyle brands with purpose, and my work reflects an ongoing advocacy for nature, sustainability, and conscious creativity.
Based in Singapore, with roots in the UK, I shoot both locally and internationally. If you’re a founder, brand, or creative team looking to craft visuals that feel intentional and elevated—from a lookbook shoot to editorial-style portraits—I’d love to connect.
Clients I’ve worked with include Salt Water Sandals, Love & Co., La Roche-Posay, Oliveankara, Maisha Concept, Simone Irani, and Spotify. My client’s imagery has been published in Vogue, ELLE, Grazia, Tatler, Her World, Expat Living, Harpers Bazaar, and more.
